I figured it out.... It's an Internet Explorer 7 thing. I have 2 PC's one runs XP w/ IE6 and the other has Vista with IE7. On the Vista machine with IE7, the .PL file wants to be downloaded as a file. On the XP machine w/ IE6 displayes the .PL file correctly. Wierd isn't it? Dave Post Edited (05-27-07 01:30)

I've tried and tried. I cannot seem to get the .PL files to work correctly. Now, on the other hand, .CGI files work wonderfuly. The .PL files just want to download. I've tried: AddHandler cgi-script cgi AddHandler cgi-script pl AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .script AddHandler send-as-is asis and... I fixed it. I deleted "Wampserver.exe" from the Start Up Menu and replaced it with the Batch file that contains: Wampserver.exe NET START wampache and NET START Mysqld. I've played with all the batch files in the Wampserver folder and this simple batch file shortcutted to the Start Up works fine. No errors in Apache log file, I am logged in as Administrator. Dave

I've been using WAMP for a couple of weeks now, with no issues till about a couple of days ago. Now, for some reason, Apache and MySQL do not Auto-Start anymore. I see the Icon in the Status tray with a Red indicator saying that Apache and MySQL have not started. I can click on them manually to get them both started. How can I fix this? How can I get them to auto-start again? Dave WinX
