Thank you for the reply! Yes - I've read that document and have several hosts working fine. (for several months now) It's this : "# match a ServerName or ServerAlias in any block." that I can't seem to find an explanation for. I guess my question is: why would a "commented out" line from httpd-vhost.conf appear in the list of my virtual hosts? Thanks, Gary

Hi - still getting my feet wet with wamp. I'm using version 2.5 - haven't upgraded apache etc. In the list under my virtual hosts the first "host" is a line that says: "# match a ServerName or ServerAlias in any block." This matches a commented out line in httpd-vhosts.conf. When selected it tries to open a host for each word in the line - i.e []# in one tab then http

hello - I'm new to wampserver but understand virtual hosts - most of my development is done on lamp servers. Hope I've posted this in the right spot. I followed the instructions to set up virtual host configs etc and all is well except for the last step regarding the ;WAMPVHOSTSUBMENU parameter.
