Thanks RigsFolly. I thought this was the correct thread since it started with the same error message: "Could not execute menu item (internal error)... I noticed that all the php extensions had error flags indicating no file found. and the php settings menu had nothing in its list. The final solution that I found to my problem was not to change the php.ini symbolic link in the apach

After lots of attempts and reinstalls, I got mine working by changing the symbolic link under windows 7. file: C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.9\bin\php.ini was originally linked to go to: c:/wamp/bin/php/php5.5.12/phpForApache.ini Changed it to: c:/wamp/bin/php/php5.5.12/php.ini Restarted everything, and it all worked. Even fixed my mysql not starting.
