update: just managed to fix this issue my self i just checked the Apache error log i got the following error C:/wamp/www/forums/.htaccess: Invalid command 'AddOutputFilterByType', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration so i removed the following lines from my .htaccess in my vb5 installation <IfModule mod_deflate.c> AddOut
