WampServer

So im very new to all of this i want to work on a joomla site for my work. i started by installing apache got to the point ware local host says "it works" found out about wamp and thought it looked like a better way to go about working on the site so i got wamp went to local host and got "it works" so i went back an uninstalled apache and i still get "it works"
