Thanks for your reply Opomatic I will look at how to set up VirtualHost. I am running 64bit Windows 7 so I installed the 64bit version on of 3.0.6 WAMP. However I saw that this is best left for experienced developers which I am definitely not. Should I therefore uninstall and use the 32bit version instead please?

I installed wamp 3.0.6 and placed my project folder (Pedroduino index) in "C:\wamp64\www" including an appropriate index.php file (index_PedroWii.php). The Project shows in localhost but will not open. No error it just won't open. If however I enter "localhost/Pedroduino index/index_PedroWii.php" into the address bar of the browser the page will open correctly. I have tried to

Just in case anyone else ever creates this problem for themselves :-) I worked out that I had deleted the default index.php file in the wamp/www folder and this caused the localhost to open at the indexof/ page

Thanks for your reply. As i am just using WAMP so I can view some very basic html pages with php inserts I think it is easier for me to just open my projects with the "127.0.0.7/MyProjectName" address, but I will try and understand and implement this virtual hosts definition that you directed me too. Thanks again Pedro.

I have just started using WAMP which I have set up on two different computers. On one I can access the localhost by 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1' in the browser address bar and it opens at index of/ page like this which is good because if I click on any of the directory names it opens the relevant directories index.php file.
