instead of disabling IIS, if you just stop the services related to IIS and MS SQL Server(if you have them running), you can get your WAMP server to work. You need to go to Task Manager and click on Services tab and then click on the Services button on the bottom right hand corner, you need to stop these services by selecting the service, right click and select STOP option: IIS Admin SQL
