1. Newbie - Trying to Obtain Data from Firebird Database
Dear PHP Folks, I have just started to experiment with PHP. I would like to obtain data from a Firebird Database. Could someone show an example of how to do this? I have found some information on the internet and tried a number of things, but so far, I have not been able to get this to work. Never mind... I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. The concept of the "localhost" is new to me and I was simply opening the .php file directly from the folder. Boy do I feel stupid !!! Brad

I have just started to work with WAMP. I did the download and the install which appeared to work properly. I did a “Start all Services” which appeared to work.
