only way to get the forum open up locally is when i set the username to " root " and leave the password blank. This is in my config.php. Forum opens up fine, but once i login with my admin account I get redirected to the original site that is online to login there.

maybe better, but just about searched everything to find a solution. Hoped someone using the wamp also has been in the same situation.

hi all, got a problem, with phpbb forum. I run it local now at (using latest wamp package) to test my changes. But when I run it local and login on the forum I get automatically redirected to the "real" forum that is online to login there. Might be a forum config file where I need to change that? Any ideas why I can't login on my forum when I run it local?
