WampServer

i been trying to install wamp server on windows 8 for about 3 days and still cant make it work. i have tried already changing just the port in the file, from 80 to 81, 3306, 8889 etc. and even thought i was able to make the localhost page open with a different port, when i tried to test mysql with the default wamp file testmysql.php. i was not able to do make it work. it gives me error after
