I have WAMP installed on a partition in my external hard drive and I am about to buy a new PC. Will I still be able to run WAMP from the external drive via the new PC or are there any registry settings it will be looking for? If I have to re-install WAMP once I have the new PC are there any instructions on how to preserve the data (files/databases/settings) rather than having to recreate them?
