hi Steve access from pc is the address localhost/ocart, access from laptop is 192.168.2.2/ocart, but it still does not render properly, if i use localhost/ocart on laptop i get nothing was not sure what this meant "and add it to both hosts files which is the best way of testing locally" thanks

hi All have my wamp setup and works fine, when i look at say ocart on my pc using localhost/ocart i see the site and it renders correctly, when i try to access it from my laptop all i get is the text, no website layout and no pictures, all the links give an error "cannot display page" if i look at a html page that is on wamp from my laptop it is fine and the links work, it just seems

hi i have wamp 1.73 installed and everything was ok untill, but now when i try to get to phpmyadmin from the local ip address 192.168.0.2 and i get the WAMP5 menu when i click on PHPmyadmin 2.11.0 i get error 403 page, if i access the page through 127.0.0.1 i can connect to PHPmyadmin 2.11.0, in both states i can see and use my local websites. your help would be appricated thanks robin

thanks i have read it actualy i read it last week as well,exellent, i could not get into the phpmyadmin, when i tried it gave me the above error message, so i have tried most things and a reinstall, then i looked up my ip address on my network and it had changed from xxxxxx 02 to xxxxxx03, i assume that is because when i shut my machine down my son started his up and he got 02 how could i fix

thanks cyberspatium i have it online and i have a router i type into the browser 213.250.154.xxx X's are numbers, but nothing happens i have tried it with he full ip and followed by 192.168.0.2 which i got from ipconfig i have tried with the "/" and ":" in between the two, i dont get an error message just nothing. thanks robin
