Hi support peers i have successfully installed wampserver v3.1.19 64bit (green icon) in my pc and download the files & database from my webserver. Let me rephrase my issue. I want localhost to run index.php located in a subfolder 'installation' from a new joomla installation full package. If i place the joomla package in the default www subfolder within eg C:/wamp64, the localhost will run it. If i place joomla package in a customized location eg D:/sites, localhost can't act on the url 'localhost/installation/index.php'

Bro you may have missed my point. I have used virtual host with working joomla installation many cases. My point is about index.php in installation folder just for a new installation eg Joomla v 4.2.9

Hi helpful guys At wampserver homepage we can create virtualhost which will then appear in httpd-vhosts.conf Thus if we want to place all website to say D:/WWW/ the virtualhost name eg mylocal-website with path to d:/www/website will work. The default documentRoot will be at "${INSTALL_DIR}/www" eg c:\wamp64/www. My problem if I want to install a full package of Joomla via the

Otamatic Monsieur Reason why I ask the Q is I would think php any version should work with Win 7 onwards but when I try the php7.4 addon of techno.net it say it can't be done I win7. Anyway to install another another way

Hi brothers I have set php,ini to max_execution_time to 800 which shows in the php settings in the wampserver tray as 800. But when i import exported .sql of about 32M, there is a fatal error say "maximum execution time of 360 seconds exceed in mysqli.php on line 213. My puzzle why the error ignore the 800 i set. what should i do instead?

Hi helping hand My confusion is to assume that the issue is within the configuration.php, it is apparently not. Thinkering i found the menu in the local wampserver is the key and it relates to the port setting for MariaDB. No changes required in the conf.php file.

Hi guys I uninstalled old 3.1.0 which run ok I thus assume all necessary VC up to 2019 are in place. Next I run as admin the downloaded 3.1.9.exe. in the process i notice the dialog to allow apache access did not appear during installation. Hence the 3rd service did not active so icon stop at yellow, green fail. Please help.

Chris for some reason when i browse from ucbrowser it works, thereafter also work in chrome - on one day after. I don't know why perhaps i force clean cache in the site files. Anyway from old memory similar event happen before due to .htaccess that was i why i make reference to it in the start of this thread.

Mate It was built in wamp years ago using Joomla in its localhost; then uploaded files & mysql to Heliohost's server. The Peace2u site has been running for 2 years without any problem. Joomla version is constantly upgraded to the latest version together with the latest version of extensions & plugin, running without any issue. i recently download the files and mysql.db from
