Hey I just looked at your post. It looks like our errors are different. I don't get an error and the MySQL service is running. I can connect to it via the command prompt. Apache just doesn't see it.

Yeah it looks like MySQL doesn't get associated with Apache upon installation. There is no mention of MySQL in the httpd.conf file.

Hey everyone, I just installed WAMP on my Windows Laptop. I'm used to using a webserver on Linux so I usually just install Apache, PHP and MySQL individually on Linux. Considering I am using a Windows Laptop I decided to use WAMP considering it installs everything and configures it as well I have encountered a problem though.
