OK, I uninstalled wamp, installed 32bit VC++, reinstalled 32bit wamp, same problem. Uninstalled 32bit wamp and installed 64bit wamp, and it works fine. Thanks.

New clean windows install. I installed both 2008 and 2010 VC++ and still get a MSVCR100.dll missing when installing 2.2e x86. I modified the httpd-autoindex.conf file. When I then run the manager I get: Exception in module wampmanager.exe at 00F15A0...The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. MSVCR100.dll exists in Windows\System32.
