The GD2 extension is included, but disabled by default. You can configure PHP to load the GD2 extension by left-clicking on the WAMP system tray icon, go to PHP Extensions > Add Extension ... enter "php_gd2.dll" and hit return, Apache will restart and you'll have GD functions available!
