I just installed Wamp (new install) and I have an orange icon. I've went through the troubleshooting tips and all seems well except that the wampmariadb is not running and I receive error code: 1057. Any assistance would be great. Let me know what other information you might need. Thanks

Noob question/mistake: I added a User upon opening phpMyAdmin with the same privileges as the User: Root. However I selected "remove all privileges and delete user" when finished. I can login with the added User I created but I can't seem to create new users and I don't have privilege to create a database. Can someone shed some light on how I should proceed? Thanks in adva

No, I chose D:/wamp during the install. However just to make sure I uninstalled wamp (using a program called geek uninstaller). Then re-installed wamp on C/wamp which ran fine. Then I uninstalled it. Then re-installed it on the D:/ drive. Still orange light. mysql error log: InnoDB: Some operating system error numbers are described at InnoDB: 2015-02-16 20:09:46 4656 InnoDB: File .\ib_lo
