Hi, I have already installed WAMPserver v3.1-x86 on Windows but while the installation is OK, I cannot access the server to install Wordpress! Many thanks for the links. In fact, I downloaded the files from the Wampserver's page but it redirected me to the Sourceforge pages! I do not know how and why this happens! Anyway, thanks again and I am now downloading the right file and will try to install it soon after. Regards,

Hi, While trying to download WAMPserver 3, I see that both Windows versions (64 and 32) stands for the same file (64) with the same size (421Mo)! Actually, when I choose to download either version 64 or 32, the downloaded file is the same in both cases (version 64) and when I install the supposedly 32, I have it as 64! So, it seems that there is no Windows32 version? Can someone advice pl

Il est vrai que c'est mon problème, et la meilleure solution serait que je monte moi-même tout ce dont j'ai besoinn! Je veux bien faire des efforts mais quand on télécharge un logiciel c'est pour pouvoir l'utiliser tout de suite et bénéficier de ses avantages, sinon on passe à autre chose n'est-ce pas? Merci pour ta réponse. Désolé, mais Je ne comprends pas trop tout ce qui est dans ton lien, puis c'est long, très long! Par contre, il n'y a pas de problème avec la version 2.2! Pourquoi alors dans 2.4? Une version plus récente n'est pas censée etre 'mieux' qu'une version antérieure? Pourquoi la version 2.4 n'est pas plus simple à configurer que la 2.2?

Ah OK, but it is empty! Page info too! Nothing there! It is really horrible! There is no way to check error in a software? I turned on error display, and error reporting in php but php-error log still empty! I didn't change any permission rule or other setting. It's defaut problem!

Yes it is completely blank! Actually, when I hit Install (after I provide database credentials), the page turn to blank and nothing happens! No installation process begins! Sorry, what do you mean by viewing the source? Source file?

OK, thanks for this clarifications. A last thing just to make sure and avoid mistakes: I should install/uninstall wamp services after each time I start WAMP? This include also PHP services or only MySQL adn Apache? Which uninstalled you mean when you say "Once you install more than one copy, never use the uninstaller found in control panel for wamp" ? Do you mean Windows control

Hi, Actually, I have installed an open access program but I can't update it neither install a new version, so I'd like to install a new WAMP server to make a fresh installation of all the package to see if I can install it. can you tell me why you want to run two copies? also do you want to run them similtaniously? this is what is not possible with the default installer. but as i said before, there isnt any reason why you would want two copies of wamp installed.. can you explain further before i go into detail about how to start modifying wamp
