Ahhh I was using a wrong URL to connect: jdbc:mysql://localhost/configuracion_servidor:3306?autoReconnect=true The port is in the wrong position, instead it should be: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/configuracion_servidor?autoReconnect=true Thank you anyway! I learned some new things. -Marco

Thank you for your help infopeer. Unfortunately didn't work, here are the screenshots of the result: I also tried adding 192.168.0.12 but didn't work neither. Is there something else I could do? Thank you again and regards! -Marco

I need urgent help on this, please! I'm trying to connect a program in Java with the MySQL installed with WAMPSERVER v2.2. I'm connecting to: jdbc:mysql://localhost/configuracion_servidor:3306?autoReconnect=true My user is "root", no password as default. testmysql.php works fine. But in Java I get this error (copy-pasted from console): Could not create connection to database

The best way to start WampServer automatically is to schedule a task on user log on. These are the steps: 1. Open Task Scheduler by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Task Scheduler. 2. Create Task... 3. In tab General only change: Name: WampServer Run with

The server was online. When I start WAMP 5 it loads the services, but only allows 127.0.0.1.

Nope, that doesn't solve the problem of accessing the server with a LAN computer. I looked for information on how to configure Apache, and made this change: # Controls who can get stuff from this server. # # onlineoffline tag - don't remove Order Deny,Allow # Deny from all # Allow from 127.0.0.1 Allow from all Now it works as I realized from the beggining. ;D

No, that's not the problem. I can access thru 127.0.0.1, but not thru 192.168.0.1 (from the same computer). And if the firewall were blocking the connection, I won't see anything at all. As I said there should be a way to setup a mask to allow communication with 192.168.0.xxx IPs in Apache. Post Edited (12-10-06 15:39)

WAMP 5 is a great tool, I'll be happy to help. This is latin-american Spanish: $w_allServicesRunning = 'Todos los servicios estan corriendo'; $w_oneServiceRunning = '%n de %t servicios estan corriendo'; $w_allServicesStopped = 'Ninguno de %t servicios estan corriendo'; $w_serverOffline = 'servidor Apagado'; $w_serverOnline = 'servidor Encendido'; $w_about = '&Acerca...'; $w_helpFile = 'Ay

I have the same problem. I'm trying to access WAMP from another PC in the LAN with 192.168.0.1, and ofcourse I get the forbidden access message. There should be a way to make a mask or something for Apache to allow communication with 192.168.0.xxx IPs, then only local computers would have access... but I don't know how to change the configuration script for that purpose. Any idea?
