Running Win7-64bit, Wamp 2.2, Apache 2.2.22, Php 5.3.13, Msql 5.6.12 This installation has been running fine for months until I had a power fail today which appears to have corrupted something important. OK, I have learnt a lot in the last two days and it was pure torture! Any how I have installed joomla in C:\wamp\www\html\joomla Joomla is still not working but I think that I am close. This var declaration is not correct ??? var $live_site ='http://localhost/html/joomla'; or what should it be? I could not find any statements about subdirectories on localhost only on http servers. I have been asked to update a live Joomla sailing club website with the directory structure as follows: root/html/joomla. I want to test the updates before installing on the live site.
