im assuming apache 2.0 is using regular sockets rather than SSL, right?

not sure, thats what i was hoping to find out nah, i dont have IIS installed apache is the only thing using port 80 because ive tested it when apache is off and no application is using 80 ive tried changing it to port 8080, but that also didnt work same problem, just on a different port does it haev anything to do with the package i downloaded? (no SSL)

hi there previously, i've been running apache v1.3 for many years without any problems i've just formatted my computer, so i thought it'd be a good chance to update my servers i tried installing apache v2.2 first, and that didnt seem to work after a little research, it seems that it didnt like php5 so i downgraded to apache v2.0.57 this seems to suffer the same problem, where it would install, s
