WampServer

I have loaded wordpress theme files in to a unique folder under 'www'. I see the wampserver home page and my unique folder is visible under "your projects". when i double click this folder link nothing happens. I see other links to documentation for php, mysql and Apache but which to use? Do I need to use them even?

Have created new site on localhost using WS2. Successfully uploaded site files to host public_html folder. Went to EXPORT tab under localhost of mysql file on my pc - clicked 'GO' saved resulting .sql file on desktop. Logged into web host control panel/phpMyAdminmysql clicked on IMPORT tab, located desktop DB file, clicked GO GOt Error 1046 No database selected. Where am I going wrong?

Got a working wampserver site ready to upload but can't access MySQL server on phpMyAdmin page - I lost written details during emigration and subsequent rehousing chaos! DB_User and DB_Password in wp_config file don't work. Any suggestions anyone?
