Hello, I also had the same problem but I didn't had IIS installed. After some research I figured it out: I had Microsoft SQL Server (ver 2008 R2). After I stopped the MS SQL Server the port 8080 got released and I was able to start Wamp Server Hope this helps Best regards, Albert
