Thank you! I have Win XP SP3 and was getting the Aestan tray error. I first installed the latest version of Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable (as suggested when downloading WAMP), installed Wampmanager 32bit, and got the error upon first launch. I googled the error message to find this page, then read about installing the 2008 version of Visual C++ Redistributable. DLed and installed

Yes, it's online. I CAN access the wampserver, but only with the firewall turned off.

Hello, I just installed WAMPserver on a new server with windows server 2008. However, it isn't accessible from other computers on my LAN unless I turn off the Windows firewall. I'm not that familiar with configuring the firewall. Can somebody please give me a simple walkthrough on how to allow HTTP access through the firewall? Thanks, Jim
