I changed my password, everything was ok until I rebooted, then I got the dreaded 1130 error. re-installed wamp. my database is gone, but at least I can get in again.

3. wamp on xp
installed ok. but nothing ever seems to ask me for a password, I always go straight in. (to phpmyadmin, php/mysql applications, mysql console etc). Is this normal? I've changed the root password and other passwords, but I still go straight into php/mysql applications, mysql console, without it asking for a password. (infact I'm not even sure who I'm logged in as (root or first user created).
