Yes, thank you! I did install the 64 bit version. I tried changing as you suggested and MySQL wouldn't boot at all. Nothing in the log files. So, I've installed the 32 bit version, changed the my.ini back and all works fine! Thank you again Chris

Hello I just re-installed windows and therefore re-installed WampServer. I was using 2.4 before but now downloaded and installed the latest 2.5. I am using Windows 7, Wampserver 2.5 which comes with Apache : 2.4.9 MySQL : 5.6.17 PHP : 5.5.12 PHPMyAdmin : 4.1.14 I install all software on my e: drive in e:\ProgramFilesx86 <- note no spaces and this has always worked well.
