I used the ; at the end of the command. I get a "database changed' indication at the command line but the database is not actually changed. Perhaps I should try ballet, floral arrangement or a more suited career.

I am trying to import a table dump file into mysql via the MYSQL> command line. I have tried : mysql -u username -p password database_name < filename.sql and I have tried using the "source" command. When I enter the following: mysql> -u username -p password database_name < filename.sql I get ->. I can't figure out what -> is asking me to do.

I did not do anything...except: I refreshed the PhPAdmin page because the server was down. I did not reopen the PhPAdmin, I simply refreshed the page. Then I attempted to update some tables in my DB. I just installed Wamp. I am trying to develop some code but I am getting this message from Apache: File does not exist: C:/wamp/www/favicon.ico Can someone tell me what is wrong with my environment or the pilot? Thanks.
