WampServer

I am trying to install the WAMP Server on a Windows 8.1 workstation. The installation proceeds to the finish without errors. Unfortunately, the Apache Server refuses to start. I need specific steps to take to resolve this issue. I look forward to hearing from someone. I am starting a project and need this operational as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

I have installed Wampserver 2.1 64 bit. The tray icon is green but says that it is offline. I am new to this and do not know where to start troubleshooting this problem. Please help.

I just downloaded and installed WAMP on my Windows 7 workstation. No error messages during install, but when I attempt to run WAMP I get the following message "CLI has stopped working". Both services run by WAMP refuse to start. I hope someone can help me.
