Ok been advised to uninstall WAMP before disabling IIS server as Im running XP then reinstall WAMP. this is great but one thing *goes bright red* how do I turn off IIS (disable it that is). could some one let me know as Im realy new at all this thanks in advance.

Hi complete newbie to this so be kind I have downloaded WAMP newest addition, Im designing in Dreamweaver mx edition New to that also. I have downloaded Php forums for a web site im trying to design so using WAMP as a testing server (local) but every time I want to use it it tells me that the windows xp server is being used (IIS.5) how do I get my PC to reconise WAMP apache as my test server
