But its not 2010 its looking for. Its looking for 2008. I develop in 2008, VS9 = VS2008. I guess they're not backwards compatible

I wouldn't really call it a disaster. Perhaps there just needs to be a launch condition during setup to go say "hey, install this Runtime so this thing works"

Install the Visual C++ 2008 Runtime from the microsoft website at: 64-bit WAMP: 32-bit WAMP: This fixed the error for me.
