It is not. Its fine, hopefully this will just get fixed in next release. It's not impossible to work with... just need to kill and start again every now and then.

Crashed a couple times in past 24 hours. Nothing I can tell of interest in event log. If i can't get back to the previous release AND use PHP8; i guess i'll put up with just restarting the tray every morning. Hopefully fixed in next release.

Sorry, didnt see your reply. I guess the "Follow topic" doesn't work on this forum. As far as i can tell i am not using my PC when Aetray crashes. It seems to crash over night while I am not at the PC. I have searched Applications and System in the Event View and nothing with "aetray". I cleared the logs and will check tomorrow morning when it has crashed again.

yes, that fixed it. running the executable which installs all the vc++ files prevented the aetray from crashing every day.

thank you for the reply. in aetray menu service it states file version: 3.2.4.9 and product version 3.2.4.0, so wasnt sure which to quote. by crash i mean it shows in the tray still; but it no longer opens. right or left click does nothing. wampserver is still running fine. there are no errors. running the vc check shows i do not have vc++ files installed. i guess these are different tha

I recently upgraded to WAMP 3.3.0 and since then AETray (3.2.4.0) crashes every day. I'd like to try using either the recently released 3.2.5 version or an older version. I downloaded the latest version and installed it; but WAMP still uses the old version. How do i get WAMP to use the latest?

I recently upgraded to WAMP 3.3.0 (from 3.2.9) in order to get PHP 8 (it said i had to update although unfortunate as everything was working great and the update had me loose all my dbs). Now that i have updated, the tray crashes at least once/day. By this i mean the icon no longer opens anything with click or right click. I need to go to task manager and kill and then rerun it. I found an upd

I have used Wampserver for years and have been using 3.2 for last year or so. Recently had to upgrade to 3.3. to get php8 as an option. Besides losing all my dbs in the process i see that my system tray app crashes.. eventually. It works when i first start it and i am used to leaving it running for weeks at a time. It seems to crash after a couple days. When i say crash i mean i can still see

I recently had to re-installl wampserver and it was running fine. i loaded a page on my site and it worked. i loaded another page and i got the error due to mysqli extension not installed. went back to first page that had just worked; and it no longer worked. i have completely uninstalled/deleted everything and re-installed a few times now and can't get this working. very odd indeed. I have been using WAMPS with Apache 2.2.11 and PHP 5.2.11 and it works great. Needed to test something with PHP 5.3 and i see under PHP versions i have 5.3 listed.. which is so cool that i can just flip between versions. So i try switching to PHP 5.3.0 but the server does not start (shows yellow not white). After poking though some log files (sad this isn't made more obvious) i see in my apach

Maybe i am just missing something but i can't seem to find where WAMPserver tells me why things don't work. For instance i occasionally do a restart all services and the little tray icon shows yellow as opposed to all white. But for the life of me can't figure out why. Is there a reason the WAMP server wouldn't know what the issue is and not be able to tell me?
