no,what I was suggesting aren't typical download sites... it wouldn't be hosted on this site, what people do on these two sites, is choose from a list of programs they want installed, the download/install program is installed on the clients machine, then when they log in... if they've just updated/format-reinstalled windows... they just log in and choose download/install and it downloads the late

you want me to uninstall everything and reboot then reinstall just the wamp and see if I can get it working without manually installing mysql? I can do that if you need me to, but as it is right now, I have managed to get it working...

hey, ok... well I'm not sure why I had to do this, but I'm on Win7 x64 ult. and I could NOT get phpmyadmin to load, I read through multiple other threads trying to figure out why. none of the things mentioned worked for me. The only way I could get phpmyadmin to load was to stop all services, download mysql x64 from mysql.com, install it to the exact same wamp path and then configure it (part of

I had trouble connecting to phpmyadmin via localhost as well... my problem ended up being that I am on win7x64 and the mysql service wasn't properly installing. so I downloaded mysql x64 from mysql.com and manually installed this and configured it (during setup). I set it to install to the exact same folders as originally done by wamp: program: wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.1.50 data: wamp\bin\mysql\
