Hi, thanks, that worked in getting wamp to run, however i cannot now get it to load localhost, wamp is enabled on port 80.

I have a bit of a problem, I cannot start my wamp server as when I try I get an error message " The configuration file contains a syntax error on line 3: Could not load the file "images_off.bmp" specified in the directive "ImageList" " So I now fear I will have to re-install wamp. I know what you mean but the guide dosen't mention any setup process that doesn't mention a domain, or am I missing something?? Sorry to be a pain but I have tried to follow the guide but I always come to a dead end. Could you point me to the section that only details setting up a VH without domain??? Thanks for all your help.

Hi thanks for your help. In the VH setup I am asked to input a domain, but I am not using a real domain. the site is located C:/wamp/www/mysite. Most of the VH steps are refering to specifying a vh with real domain. Using my router admin I have specified port forwarding. My router ip is 192.168.0.1 and my computer is 192.168.0.2 so I have specified port 21-21 TCP ip 192.168.0.2 and port 80-
