hi RiggsFolly please feel free to change or add anything as required installation of the "Zend OPtimizer v3.3.3" extension in a version of wampserver with php5.2.x or less - thread safety (enabled) note: Zend Optimizer v3.3.3 has issue with php5.3.x or greater - i believe "Zend Guard Loader" is required. i'm using wampserver 2.0c (php 5.2.6). xp sp3 application

many thanks RiggsFolly for your help - done as suggested & great, WS is now working. i've tried to install my cubecart 4.3 having initially setup db & user in phpmyadmin.& created a new global.inc.php file however, i am getting a blank page during install on going from step 3 (input of db & admin info etc) to step 4 (permission). once again, thanks

hi RiggsFolly it's me again - i installed WS v2.2e - all is "green light" except for phpmyadmin. i'm getting the error: #2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured). i've tried looking for stray my.ini/my.cnf files, changing listen 80 to liste

hi - i did a system restore to last month. i can now get localhost & apache is now in service however mysql is still showing as not in service when i tried my cubecart i got Warning: mysql_connect() : Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) in C:\wamp\www\cubecart430\classes\db\db.php on line 42 Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) thanks

hi - my apologies - i checked windows log again (way down the list) & found 5 errors: date:29/10/14 (all errors) source: application type: error event id = 1000 description: faulting application wampserver.exe version 1.6.1.33 failing module Kernel32.dll version 5.1.2500.5781. fault address 0x00012alb don't know how to resolve the "dll" problem? thanks again

thanks for your reply. i checked the windows viewer & found nothing relating to apache. howver a few of the most recent ws error log entries are: Child 4092: Starting 250 worker threads. hi - i use WS2 to customize my cubecart v4.3 skins. i last used it about 4 months ago but when i tried it today i found the following: 1) could not connect to localhost. 2) apache>service>start/resume service give error box "could not execute item (internal error)....." also test port 80 give "Your port 80 is not actually used" 3) clicking the the mysql star

hi - i have a fully licensed version of cubecart 4 on WS for about 2 years. haven't used for over a year - everything was working fine. just tried it again as i want to mod the shop however when i try localhost/cc4/admin.php i get "Server host name doesn't match value in includes/extra/key.php file" using localhost/cc4/ brings the shop up ok any help kindly appreciated

hi - i've tried the CC forums & honestly have received little or no help. i have a licenced version of CC4 running online but i dont like the skin/template. i was told the easiest way to customise the skin/template was to put CC4 on a personal server & use firebug.. i've tried my licenced version & also a 30 day trial one on wamp both with the same issue. installed wamp2
