For what it is worth; Running PHP 5.3.0 result in a HTTP 500 error, Running PHP 5.2.0 reults in a blank white screen. I also only gain access to Joomla admin under PHP 5.3.0, With PHP 5.2.0 nothing happens after logging in. Both version have PHP_Curl activated.

Something else, the localhost screen is completely blank. The http 500 error also do not show any more - nor Joomla website.

Hi On a previous installation under Windows XP, I encounetered a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" and was told to enable the PHP curl extension. It solved the problem then. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate today and then again installed WampServer. I once again get a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" when visiting the front end of Joomla - this time the PHP curl extension
