WampServer

I have problem when I try to use mysql through PHP . I typed this command mysql_connect("localhost","eric","" but it appears an error message like this : Warning: mysql_connect() : Access denied for user 'eric'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in C:\wamp\www\testing.php on line 17 Could not connect: Access denied for user 'eric'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
