Thanks c2dan, so stop wamp click on the addon let it install and then look for the version ok. I'll give it a go. Thanks again for your help really appreciated. -sean

Hi all, Sorry for such a newbie question but how do you use or install the php add ons. I chose php 5.2.5 and when it finished downloading I ran it while I had the latest wamp running on windows 7 but after wamp just started to crash so I uninstalled wamp and restored my pc and reinstall wamp. Could someone help me with some directions I don't want to keep uninstalling wamp and restoring the pc
