I was aware of the risks. At the moment i only needed a fast way to share files. Either way, you should provide an option to make this easier to the user. I looked and there is no straightforward solution to enable IP access. Ill leave it alone for now. Thanks..

Why did they make it so difficult and tweaky to access wamp from the local computer? Wamp used to be accessible by IP out of the box.

When you are installing wamp, you have absolutely no way to know that you need to config Apache for it to work with each project you make. Not unless you install, see it as a problem, and then go on the forums to see whats wrong with it. After you install it, you should be notified of what to do further. I had to reinstall Wamp 2.1 as my old 3.0.7 forum doesnt run well on the latest php version. So i am releaved of this issue. I read some of the topic you linked and it sounds annoying. After you install a program, you expect it to work directly. Without having to go and set some setting you dont know about as the program doesnt notify you. hmm.. i really dont think its a Browser thing i have asked b4 in here and as u can see there i was told it can be a apache issue i have tried to use other Browsers like IE 8 To test the page and things are still there they take effect after a amount of time..

i guess the package you gave me is an addon for wamp to only update the php version but it isnt working.. it just ads a php5.3.3 folder near the php5.3.0 one .. and in the server configuration it says i still have PHP Version : 5.3.0

hmm have you tested it ? it wont install it untill the end....... it only makes 4 files the bin file with the php folder the unsit00 exe and dat files and closewamp.bat then it gives a error "Setup Unable to execute file: C:\wamp\wampmanager.exe shellexecuteEx failed ;code 2 the system cannot find the file specified" as its not installing it ...
