Nope I'm not using IIS. Thanks for clearing regarding CAL. Yes, that's true. I wanna install server 2003 on #2. But we have already purchased xp pro. Is it possible to exchange the OS of two machines ? I mean install xp in #1 and server 2003 in #2 with same license keys ?

yfastud & stevenmartin99 , Thanks for your replies. Currently i'm using environment 1. The access from client machines is really slow. And I always had question about running server 2k3 on a client machine environment. I some how feel, to get best out of server 2k3 you gotta go with Server machines. on the other hand, I thought environment 2 is better than 1 because of 2x2.0 ghz.

I'm currently running 5 small applications under one wampserver. I'm quite confused with performance. Please suggest me which environment among these two are better. I know there are better choices, unfortunately my resources are limited. Environment 1: OS : Windows Server 2003 R2 Stnd Ed SP2 Computer : Intel core 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86 GHZ , 2.48 GB Ram Environment 2: OS: Windows XP
