Hello, I followed documentation as suggested, and tried to recover from v3.0.3 to v3.0.6 (and v3.0.8 upgrade). But, I haven't been very successful. I installed v3.0.6 (a couple of times I've upgraded to v3.0.8) and recovered from backup. Usually I would just recover apaceh, mysql, php and my sites from www, but once I did a full recovery from backup. No matter how I do this, I normally

I HAD version 3.0.3, but due to a mistake that I made, I wiped out the installation. I couldn't find v3.0.3, so I installed v3.0.6 and upgraded to v3.0.8. I have everything on backup and can recover. How is the best way for me to recover from v3.0.3? The MySQL version that I was using is 5.6.17. Can I copy/paste the data files from the old version to the new version? Thanks Daryl

I need to re-install version 3.0.3 64 bit. I only see version 3.0.6 in the download area. Where can I get 3.0.3? Thank you. Daryl

I think that I have this issue resolved. The reason why I was looking for 64bit PHP is because I am using 64bit Wamp Server. You may be correct that my hosting company is using 32bit PHP, but my local version is 64bit. I found an error in my .htaccess that was causing my issues, so I am able to move forward with php 5.5. So far, that is working for me. Thank you very much for all of yo

Hello, I successfully upgraded Wamp 2.5 to 3.0.3. I went to download PHP 5.4 for 3.0.3 and discovered that its only for 32bit. Do you have a 64bit version? If not, will the 32bit work? Thank you. Daryl

Hello, I'll upgrade, however, I have a couple of questions. 1. You said not to use Wamp 3.0.0, but to use 3.0.3. Is the latest download 3.0.3? 2. Can I upgrade from 2.5 to 3.0.3, or do I first have to uninstall 2.5, and install fresh 3.0.3? Thank you. Daryl

After posting this question, I started looking at Wamp 3. I see Wamp 3 has php 5.4. Can I upgrade from wamp 2.5 to Wamp 3? I have a custom install, e.g., not default location, using virtual hosts.... I don't want to redo everything that I've done, and I don't want to lose any of the sites that I am working on. Thank you. Daryl Rose

Hello, I am using Wamp version 2.5 on my development machine, which includes php 5.5. My hosting company uses php 5.4. I downloaded a working copy of my site, so I can test updates, but index.php is not working and I think that its because of the php version. Years ago I was able to tweak my version of Wamp to match what my hosting company is using, or very close to, but now, I can't see

I see what I did wrong. I read the conversation with LAVenetz, and I realized that I failed to put a "localhost" virtual host in the httpd-vhost.conf. Now when I enter "localhost" in the address bar, I get the locahost page. I have a couple of follow up questions. I put my projects on a separate drive. I have a small OS drive, but I have a pair of 2TB data drives. F

I went through the virtualizing projects tutorial. I now understand why the localhost/<project> is no longer working. However, now when I enter localhost in the address bar, it takes me to the first project. I no longer have the wampserver main page. What do I need to do to get that back? Thank you. Daryl

I just recently installed wampserver 2.5. I can enter "localhost" in my browser and I can see the section with all of my "projects". However, if I select one of the projects, the localhost drops off of the URL, and only the project name appears in the address bar and I get an error "Web page is not available". I have to select the URL, and manually reenter localho

My current website is Joomla 1.5 and was built using wamp 2.0.x with Apache 2.2.11, MySQL 5.1.3 and PHP 5.2.9. I want to upgrade to Joomla 3.5, but I can't install Joomla 3.5 on such old versions. I downloaded WAMP 2.2e with Apache 2.4.2, MySQL 5.5.24, and PHP 5.4.3. I then installed the older plugins of Apache, MySQL and PHP to match what I had originally. I try to switch from the newe

My primary system is a Windows Vista machine. I had a system crash a while back and had to recover my system. Wamp was still in the root directory, so I tried to start it. Wamp appears in the system tray, but services will not start. So, I tried to reinstall. Same thing, wamp appears in the system tray, but the services will not start. The only error that I see are in the php_error.log:

Hello, I currently use Wamserver 2.0i with the default MySQL 5.1.36 to develop my site. My hosting company is using MySQL 5.1.43 , (I think that is the correct version). I tried exporting my current database and then importing it into the database on my hosting site, however, I ran into a lot of issues with syntax and tables being wrong. I tried to upgrade the MySQL within Wampser
