I have been running WAMPSERVER 3.0.3 on Windows 7. Today I installed the wampserver3_x86_x64_update3.1.9.exe, using elevated privileges (as administrator) I verified that I have installed all dependencies by using check_vcredist.exe. However, it does not update wampmanager.exe. This file remains at version 3.0.3. Further, I have added the latest PHP release wampserver3_x64_addon_php7

I have been running Wampserver 2.5 I want to upgrade to the latest version, so here's what I did: * Followed instructions at * Updated all VC Distributions and ran the check_vcredist.exe program with success * I upgraded to version 3.0.3 as instructed * During installation, it wanted to install into c:\wamp64. Reinstall fixed it. Not sure what the problem was. I'm still curious why the latest release of WAMP doesn't use the latest versions of PHP, Apache or MySQL.

Thanks for the quick response! Refresh did nothing and rebooting did nothing. I'm going to reinstall it to see if that will fix it. Any particular reason that PHP 5.3.1 isn't integrated into the main WAMP download? Thanks again

I downloaded WampServer2-PHP531.exe and installed it, but PHP version 5.3.1 is not showing up in the list of php versions. I need 5.3.1 because it has a bugfix for NTFS junction points that I really need. Is there anything special I have to do to get 5.3.1 to show up? Thank you Peter
