WampServer

Since the MySQL thing is obviously not working very well, and no one seems to be able to figure out what's wrong, what do you think about this: Use MS Excel as a database for PHP. I have heard of it being done before but I don't know how. Is there a link somewhere that describes it in detail? It's obvious I'm a web developer and not a server guy!

Thanks for your reply but it doesn't work. wamp's mysql is the only one installed, and the only my.ini is from wamp.
