I have a software i have been trying to test out. an open source application that refuses to install on a local server. i've been told to change the ip address of the server from 127.0.0.1 to something else and i cant get how to do so. i run wamp on a windows 7 laptop. Hello, I just tried it out now. i first started wamp in online mode,placed the shortcut where you said i should and restarted my system. After the system restarted, Wamp didnt come up automatically like you said it would. Is it that it doesnt work with windows 7 and vista? if you have run it on a particular operating system and it works do let me know how. I placed the wamp shorcut in this

so all I need to do is start wamp in online mode and then set the application in the folder we talked about and anytime the system coes up it starts in online mode.. If thats so i'll give it a try and get back to you. Thanks

I dont understand what you said now. What i mean is that i dont want to be clicking on the icon for wamp everytime and then right clicking to put it online. Do you mean that if i drag the icon to start/programms/startup that wamp will automaticcally start up and run in online mode? please explain

Hello, Is there anyway that I can get wamp to start automatically when the system comes on? I have an application running locally on a local network and i want wamp to startup automatically and run in online mode when the workstation hosting the application comes on. How do i go about that if its possible?

if i use the ip number of the machine thats the local host and i need it to call up the index page of a certain folder.. Lets say i have three folders in my WWW directory called A,B and C. and the application i want viewed on the LAN is C. how do i redirect the users cos i am not sure that when i click or use the PCNAME or IP what the link will show up.
