Hi, Can I use use on a usb stick so I can take it with me and use with my XP notebook? I use it on my XP desktop now. It is only for web site and php testing NOT for using as a server to the public. HI, This morning I got the dreaded yellow wamp icon. Had me in a spin until i, 1. Checked Apache Error logs 2. Saw it couldn't open a log file 3. Remembered I created a new directory for a new site in wamp 4. I forgot to create a logs directory in the new site 5. Created the directory 6. Icon went white immediatley! Hope it helsp some.. This is different as it is located in www.domainname/catalog as opossed to the others which are in the root. Hi, Now that I have Wamp going and it is terrific, I it seems I need to also setup a Linux box so I can test Suphp and Suhosin. What is the best setup for this please. Is there a setup similar to wamp where Apache, php, mySQL, etc etc come with an interface similar to cpanel for non lInux nerds like me? Some say Centos and others say others. In my rumbling around I did find the php.ini answer but it also involved thanging these things. Not sure where I got it from now but also thanks to them who gave it to the world!! Hi, I have this problem with some shop php scripts. I am tetsing them on php 5.3 and they don't work, but got the add on for 5.2 and they do work. As I do not have the time to upgrade the scripts myself I outsourced them to coders who can do it and who bid for the job. When I get them back I test them on my 5.3 wamp and if okay, they get paid. Ah Haa.. Thanks. That is helpful. It was a bit confusing about the database name thing. The online server gives the database the user name of the site.. in this case 'autovisi' then I name it 'autovison', so it gets autovisi_autovison.
