When you look at your tray icon (somewhere next to the time) you can see the WAMP icon when your server is loaded. when it's yellow or red php or mysql is not loaded. If there is a lock in your WAMP icon de server only can be reached from de localhost (your onw computer)> When there is no lock in the icon your serer should be online. I think that you' have to put your server online everytime

Okay I mentioned to get the two versions of mySQL in WAMP!! Now I get the message: MySQL version : MySQL not launched or bad phpmyadmin config It happens when both versions. I do not have any password on my phpmyadmin

David, Can I choose which other version of MySQL I want to use next to de standard in WAMP5. for example can I choose mySQL 4.023 or 3.23 Or is the add-on for a specific one. And second How do I have to implant de second version of mySQL in wamp? do I download a previous wamp version and do I have to cut out and copy mySQL of that version into the latest release of WAMP5? Or do I have to do so

OOOEEEEPPPPSSSS No not more then two....... I want to use mySQL 4.0.23 and the normale wamp5 mysql. Sorry I did not read your question right. My question was if you can make a package with two versions of mySQL because I can not get youre great add-on work properly.

I'm sorry I already found that. My question was not specific enough (I'm not a native speaker). I don't know where to put the old_password thing and I'm not sure how specific I have to put it into that spot. So could you tel me where i can find the file to put it in? I've recently installed WAMP 5. Because I allready used a previous version of it. Now I experience a big problem. I want to use this local server to show now and then some of mine projects. Thats why I put a password in phpMyadmin. It works great when using php5. But when I switch to php4 wich I need for my projects my username en password are not accepted anymore!!
