Thanks Florian, for your suggestion. I did stop Nod32 (what is just a virusscanner) and this did not make any sense. I did stop Windows firewall as well. No change. TCPView does not show port 8888 is occupied. I changed to port 7777 same result. Changed back to port 80. same result.Yes of course I do restart services after each change. Hi, I am since a long time user of WAMP, LAMP and MAMP, howeever not an expert. Great services and happy user till I met Vista. I did install Wamp server 2.0 (Romain Bourden) on Vista. Every seems fine all services are running and on-line. However I can not connect to (I did change the port from 80 to 8888 (in httpd.conf on 2 places).
