Hi again I did a complete wamp reinstall without tweaking anything and sofar all is Ok. Still don't know what triggered the error but thanks for all suggestions.

Hi and thanks. Cleaned up hosts - have no Skype - no IIS - nothing but AVG and DreamWeaver. Problem persists. Apache and PHP error logs show nothing to explain this. Could Dreamweaver have triggered this ?

Yesterday managed to get things working - today, without changing anything, nothing works. Localhost, phpmyadmin, any php file in my www folder generates IEE not found message. Changed ports - no change. IIS has been disabled, so has Skype. Clicking on the Aestan Menu produces the same error. I never can get any real work done. Any suggestions ?

Have latest Wamp installed but cannot get php working: ie7 returns the auto_php_file window and my apache error log shows: File does not exist: C:/.../wamp/www/favicon.ico Port 80 works I think. Any thoughts ?
