Well I am embaresed now. WAMP was not running. I started it and all's fine. Thanks so much. I am new to Joomla and this forum and it looks like a really good one.. Thanks Again Dan

Had problem after installing WAMP where when typing localhost in browser, it dipslayed the Win IIS screen (which I had installed). I shut IIS off and tried again, but now it does nothing when trying localhost in browser. Obviously, the localhost is not pointing to the WAMP page it should be. How can I correct this? Thanks, Dan

I'm new to WAMP. Installed on local machine in WinXP and all went well except when I try to run phpMyAdmin it takes me to a IIS page instead. It's obvious that IIS is set as the localhost page and not the php... page. I do not know how to correct this so that the WAMP goes to the localhost it is looking for. Thanks
