I used to have wampserver www directory on my C drive. After a reinstall I placed the working directory in my E drive But when I open up the www directory from the wampserver menu it opens up the C drive in File explorer When I open localhost in my browser it shows the contents of the E drive. I hope that is clearer S

I have just returned to using wampserver and discovered a strange anomaly. When re-installing wampserver I moved my default www directory to my E drive. I still had my old stuff on the C Drive. But when I open localhost it shows me my projects on the E drive yet when I open the www Directory from wampserver it shows me the C drive. It confused me a lot initially - is there a fix? I am using

many thanks, it was the '5' that was throwing Apache, the extra line fixed it.

Hi I Just upgraded to windows 8 (64 bit) , re-installed my wampserver 2.2 and now my php5 files just show the source, or IE9 asks me whether I want to open or save the file. Firefox does the same PHPinfo, phpmyadmin are working fine - I am stumped. Any ideas? thanks,Shumit

Hi I tried to reset my password before reading the guide and got the access denied in phpmyadmin. Since then I have followed all the advice above but I am still getting access denied from phpmyadmin. fortunately its working now - I have no idea why but I fear it will go again. (it comes and goes) Im not sure how to post a screenshot but it literally is the first screen after opening any database. After that it just stays on this page whatever I press.

Hi, I cant find this problem anywhere else. after opening phpmyadmin onto my database I get the usual list of tables but after that whatever I select I remain stuck on the initial table list screen. This happens whatever I select but my wampserver is working fine as far as I can tell, records are being updated in mysql , etc. I have skype but have the correct ports selected. Any ideas, t
