HI UNi, Roger
Ok, i checked and IIS is not installed on vista Home Premium, so it is not the culprit. Second, i can tell it is not a port problem, but a connection problem.
I uninstalled and reinstalled WAMP 2.0 today, same problem occurs. Server shows white icon that's fine, but something forbits (ERROR 403) connecting to internet when WAMP tries to launch localhost or phpMyAdmin. Well, ev Forum: WampServer Francais
Hi,
I ran into a problem a couple months ago (and i lost customer) that i couldnt fix: for some strange reason
wamp is not working well (can't access phpMyAdmin, nor simply preview pages in browser).
We ran into some tests with the nice persons here on this forum, and we didnt find any issue on port 80.
The only hypothesis left is IIS blocking wamp. The thing is before i put this comput Forum: WampServer Francais

This stuff is really turning me bad. Nothing in the documentation explains for the white icon with red at left corner. I seem not to know what is blocking the server from running. Lots of R&Ds to complete. Forum: WampServer English

Hi,
Something must prevent wamp server to run correctly on my computer. The icon shows white with a red on left side. What does this mean?
When i try to launch phpMyAdmin or localHost i get an error message: "localhost is not set up to establish a connection with "world wide web service (HTTP)" " with this computer.
The server is online and my computer too (i can post Forum: WampServer English
Oops, pendant que tout marche désormais 100% sur mon pc (connecté sur adsl 24h), mon laptop cependant me demande toujours de me connecter au net pour avoir accès au phpmyadmin. Que faire? Forum: WampServer Francais

1- "Tu utilises IE ? Quelle version ?

Merci Forum: WampServer Francais
